DARTH VADER LIGHTSABER SE
STAR WARS: EPISODE VI RETURN OF THE JEDI

On board the second Death Star, the evil Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader, once again found himself engaged in battle with Luke Skywalker.  Commanded by the Emperor to turn his son to the dark side of the Force, Vader instead found his loyalties conflicted as the close proximity to Luke reawakened the man and the Jedi he had once been.

During the ferocious duel, Luke gave into his rage and strayed perilously close to the dark side, almost killing Vader.  But the son of Skywalker was not destined to suffer the same fate of his father.  With great strength of will, Luke abandons his dark side rage, refusing Palpatine's seduction of power as he steps away from his father's broken body.  Declaring himself a Jedi, like his father before him, the younger Skywalker stood defiant.

Enraged, the Emperor unleashes a deadly barrage of Sith lightning to destroy the Jedi.  Unable to watch Luke die, Darth Vader turns on his master and throws him down a  bottomless reactor shaft, saving the life of his son.  It was the end of Darth Vader and the Sith: Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Knight, had returned.

Darth Vader uses and new lightsaber in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi.  The prop used in the previous episode was unavailable, so the resourceful prop department took a similar looking Luke Skywalker stunt lightsaber from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, added a collar and painted the top top of the lightsaber to recreate the distinctive black emitter shroud of Vader's weapon.  The stunt blade was cut down, leaving a protruding rod, and the mid band was altered to recreate the black activator panel.  Further details were added to the neck area resulting in a similar, yet quite distinct representation of the Dark Lord of the Sith's evil weapon.

Master Replicas hopes that you enjoy adding this replica of the last lightsaber Darth Vader ever wielded to your collection.
